About AILEEN

“Traveling is a brutality. It forces you to trust strangers and to lose sight of all that familiar comfort of home and friends. You are constantly off balance. Nothing is yours except the essential things – air, sleep, dreams, the sea, the sky – all things tending towards the eternal or what we imagine of it.” – Cesare Pavese

My name is Aileen, you can call me ayy and I am a 25 year old Torontonian studying Masters of Science in Health Informatics.

A couple of my hobbies include  Dancing, Working out and Exploring the world. I have backpacked and explored different countries throughout the years but I was inspired to make a travel blog by my family who would like to know my whereabouts when I make my big move to China in September 2016. However, I was going to be travelling to other places before then, so I thought I’d make one now and let you know about my experiences during my stay at these places.

I would also like to touch base and answer a few questions you guys might have in terms of traveling and also how to get the funds for it (in layman’s term, how to travel with a budget).  In reality, I am still a 25 year old student trying to make ends meet but at the same time fill my life with experiences before I settle down and start a family.

Follow me as I cross countries and cities of my Bucket list.
